Hello there! Welcome to This Is Sakshi. I am Sakshi Sharma – the foodie, the travelista, the photographer and the author of this website. I am an ex-medico from India and am currently enjoying life with my husband and a beautiful daughter.
‘This Is Sakshi’ is my space, where you can find me cooking, sharing my stories, exploring new restaurants, exploring the markets, new locations and holiday spots. I recently moved back to India a few months back after staying in USA for 5 years. I am in a new city and I am still exploring the local cuisine, the local markets, the countryside and newer ingredients to cook (food being my first love!).
I am a believer in simple foods and simple cooking. I am only but a beginner and I am learning as we go! My recipes would be especially helpful for those who are starting out as cooks! Here you can find simple and doable recipes along with my experiences at the local restaurants around me. I really hope that some of you benefit from what I have to share!
